Get Your Kicks at SportieLA
It’s no new-comer, that’s for sure. Since its opening in 1985, SportieLA has crafted and created the L.A. sneaker and streetwear scene with their extensive and exclusive offerings. In fact, it’s safe to say that if Sportie doesn’t have it, you’re hard pressed to find it new anywhere else. Not to mention, it’s a top 10 L.A. sneaker shop and top 50 sneaker shop ever according to the sneaker heads over at Complex Magazine.
And this place really has everything. It’s a one-stop shop for anyone looking to up their footwear game. Uggs? Yeah, sure. PF Flyers? You know it. Nike? Of course. Adidas? No doubt. Birkenstock? Hell yeah, boy. Seriously, there’s not a shoe Sportie doesn’t have. Even limited runs and collabs are an everyday sight at this sneaker mecca – this ain’t no cheapo factory store.
While other shops come and go, change their mission or move to cheaper real estate, SportieLA stays on Melrose – where it’s been for nearly 30 years – delivering the best of the new school and the old school to sneakerfiles across L.A. Drop by some time, they’re located about a mile from Farmer’s Daughter and are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sundays. And while you’re there looking at their sneaks, do a quick spin to the center rack and check out their equally sick apparel.
